Glendora narrowly defeats Ayala in boys basketball while Diamond Bar upsets Bonita.

BOYS BASKETBALL
PALOMARES LEAGUE
Glendora 72, Ayala 66: Glendora took a 33-30 lead at halftime and held on for a huge league-opening win over the Bulldogs. Colton Grey made his presence felt once again as he scored a game-high 23 points with 14 rebounds. Max Hilgenfeldt added 18 points. Ayala’s Josiah Yang paced the Bulldogs attack with 15 points, with Jeremy Serrano chipping in with 13 and Jacky Zhao and Joshua Townsell each pumping in 11 points.
Diamond Bar 73, Bonita 66: In the upset of the night in the area, the Brahmas defeated the visiting Bearcats. Tyler West turned in a top effort with a team-high 20 points, Max Gao right behind with 17, and Jedi Chow capped off the top scoring with 16 points.
Walnut 64, Claremont 48: Kiko Guevara topped the stat sheet for the Mustangs with 21 points, which included shooting seven 3-point baskets. Junior Jeremiah Vasquez and Nathan Yen each contributed 11 points.
OTHER GAMES
Keppel 70, Schurr 65: Maddux Hang shined for the Aztecs with an impressive 31 points and six assists, while Brody Velasquez and Jimmy Osiris contributed 11 points each.
Los Altos 93, Wilson 44: Kylen Kincy led the charge for the Conquerors with a game-high 21 points. Los Altos showcased balanced scoring with five players in double figures, including Kevin Keshishyan with 20 points and Kareem Mendez with 18.
Sierra Vista 72, Bravo 35: Ethan Guebara had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Glendora 44, Ayala 33: Brianna Reyes topped the stat sheet with 19 points, and Mia Reyes chipped in 11.
PREP LEAGUE
Pasadena Poly 53, Mayfield 47: Areni Ohanian (15 points) and Harper Doyle (12 points) were among five Panthers who scored in double figures in their league victory.
OTHER GAMES
Maranatha 64, Monrovia 28: Aleen Avannessian delivered a standout performance with 32 points to lead the Minutemen to victory, while Charlotte Yee contributed 12 points to the win.
