San Dimas pulls out a thrilling win over Bonita in boys basketball; Bonita, La Salle, Sonora, Los Altos and South Pasadena girls basketball teams post impressive wins.

NONLEAGUE
San Dimas 44, Bonita 42: In another thrilling renewal, the Saints held the Bearcats scoreless on their final possession to win the game. Luke Chavez proved to be the eventual hero as he took a beautiful pass from Logan Hodson and successfully converted on a layup that gave the Saints a 44-42.
Hodson, who was playing in calf strain throughout the game, proved an impressive double-double as he scored a game-high 15 points with 10 rebounds. Ryan Quach, a transfer from Bonita, added 12 points and Andrew Diep tallied 11 points.
Bonita was led by Colton Perez, who scored 11 points with Andrew Sanchez chipping in 10 points and Josh Kim pumped in 9 points.
San Dimas returns to action at the Glendora Tournament.

Northview 49, Sierra Vista 37: Senior Sam Osi looked solid as he led all scorers with 19 points and Caleb Mckendrick grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the visiting Vikings past the Dons.
San Marino 66, Alhambra 39: The Titans showed no ill effects from their win over the weekend at the San Dimas tournament with an easy road win over the Moors. Adrian Huang topped the stat sheet for San Marino with 12 points and Bobby Reyes added 10 points with 7 rebounds.
Rosemead 71, Rio Hondo Prep 64: Freshman Elias Har scored a game-high 15 points with junior Derek David adding 13 points, but it was not good enough as the Panthers earned a road win over the Kares.

AT THE GLENDORA TOURNAMENT
La Canada 79, Diamond Bar 64: The Spartans continue to impress as Josh Proctor amassed a double-double, 23 points with 18 rebounds and Josh Pastor added 22 points to lead the Spartans past the Brahmas in pool play action. Tyler West was the leading scorer for Diamond Bar with 20 points and Reed Bevans tallied 17 points.
Bishop Amat 65, Quartz Hills 50: Rayshaun White paced the offensive attack for the Lancers with 15 points and Matt Rodriguez contributed 14 points as the Lancers earned a pool play tournament win.
Glendora 68, Don Lugo 37: The Tartans have won back-to-back games with three different players scoring in double figures in their win over the Conquistadores. Elijah Regan scored 19 points with Chris Lee adding 14 points and Colton Gray pumping in 12 points.
AT THE RIVERSIDE POLY TOURNAMENT
Damien 86. Ramona 19: With center Nate Garcia not playing due to illness, the Spartans did a great job of spreading out the scoring in their first-round win with five different players scoring in double figures. Jacob Allen was the leading scorer with 15 points with Elijah Smith, Xavier Clinton, and Jayden Avina each scoring 12 points and Zaire Rasshan chipping in with 10 points.
AT THE EL DORADO TOURNAMENT
Los Altos 68, Troy 62: The Conquerors (4-4) went on a 38-14 run late in the second half and came away with a hard-fought win over the Warriors. Kylen Kincy paced the offensive attack with 14 points and Preston Lewis added 13 points.
AT THE BELLFLOWER TOURNAMENT
Walnut 77, Environmental Charter 38: Junior Isaiah Leon had a big night as he led the Mustangs scoring attack with 25 points, and fellow junior Myles Wainwright added 14 points as the Mustangs easily captured a win at the Bellflower tournament.
AT THE MONTCLAIR TOURNAMENT
Montclair 62, West Covina 58: Anthony Daher scored 14 points with Steven Julio adding 12 points, but it was not good enough as the Bulldogs suffered a tough loss to the host Cavaliers.

Bonita 51, San Dimas 38: The Bearcats went on a 17-7 run midway through the first half and looked sharp in a road nonleague win over their archrival Saints. Lexi Mercado, Tresse Beatty, and Serenity Henderson each scored 11 points for Bonita. Jaelyn Ramos paced the Saints’ offensive attack with 14 points and seven rebounds.
Azusa 57, Baldwin Park 15: Evelin Villalva scored 11 points and Alondra Olmos grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the Aztecs past the visiting Braves.

Sonora 63, Temple City 23: Sophomore Liana Hwang had the hot hand for the Raiders as she scored 17 points with Kiana Graham adding 13 points as Sonora easily turned back the Rams in an impressive pool-play win.

South Pasadena 68, Chaminade 49: Kayla Boozer had the performance of the night in the area as she scored an impressive 31 points and hauled in 18 rebounds to lead the Tigers past the Eagles. Guard Dylan Tse scored 24 points with seven steals.
