1. La Mirada (Gateway, Division 1, 20-8): With all eyes looking directly to the postseason, don’t be surprised to see this team make a deep playoff run. Gene Roebuck is starting to hit his best stride; Julien Gomez is doing his job nicely and the rest of the team is gelling well. Gateway League champs and, hopefully, a high seed in Division 1.
