Tomas Bilvado, San Marino vs. South Pasadena
It was another virtuoso performance for the season as he tossed a three-hitter and struck out 11 in the Titans' win over the Tigers. Bilvado also established new program records for most career wins (22) and strikeouts (169).

Joshua Chavez, South El Monte, vs Artesia
Here is an underclass pitcher to watch in the area. This sophomore caught the attention of baseball fans in the area with a very good performance in his debut as a starting pitcher. Chavez pitched five scoreless innings, surrendered one hit, and struck out three. He is one to follow.

Justin Escobedo, Bishop Amat, vs. St. Paul
On Friday, the senior showed everyone in attendance why he is the ace of the Lancers staff. He tossed a five hitter and struck out six as he improved his record to 3-0 with a team-leading ERA of 0.61 and strikeouts (33). He also peaked on his FB on his final game pitch at 81 MPH.
AJ Flores, Northview vs. Layton
The senior flamethrower looked sharp in his start on Thursday as he allowed two hits and fanned seven hitters in the four shutout innings that he worked.

Michael Gerst, Marshall vs. Mountain View
The senior captured his first win of the season, tossing four no-hit innings and striking out nine. He lowered his ERA to 0.58.

Brayden Johnson, Glendora vs. Diamond Bar
After losing two of three starts, Johnson returned to front street with a dominating performance against the Brahmas. He tossed a one-hitter and struck out 13 to improve his record to 4-2.

Izaac Muniz, Bishop Amat vs. St. Paul
The junior showed again why he is one of the top underclass pitchers in the area, as he allowed one run on one hit and struck out 11 in the Lancers’ win against St. Paul. He has the second-lowest ERA on the team with 1.45.

Daniel Nageer, Bonita vs. Claremont
The Bonita coaching staff liked this kid a lot in our discussions before the start of the season, and he has more than rewarded their confidence. He picked up his second consecutive win and third of the season with a solid effort against the Wolfpack. He struck out four in five innings of work and allowed one hit.

Gianelle Napoles, St.Paul (SOFTBALL) vs. St. Anthony
We had to highlight this freshman’s performance against St. Anthony, as she put it all together to earn her first win of the season in a big way, no-hitting St. Anthony in a huge Del Rey League win. She pitched a complete game and struck out 11.

Adam Rabb, Bonita vs. Claremont
Rabb was a throne on the side of the Wolfpack as he allowed one hit in a 7-0 Bonita win in game one of their three-game series. In the 13.2 innings that he has pitched, Rabb has an ERA of 0.51

Isaac Solorzano, Montebello vs. Keppel
Solorzano has more than filled the cup of Oilers fans to the brim with outstanding performances, and he did it again on Friday as he tossed a five-inning no-hitter against the Aztecs and won his fourth consecutive start. He struck out 10 and has 37 Ks in the season.

Caleb Thatcher, Marshall vs. Gabrielino
Teaming up with George Jennings in a five-inning no-hitter, Thatcher did all the heavy lifting as he struck out nine in four innings of work.

Matthew Vasquez, Maranatha vs. Paloma Valley
Vasquez solidified his status as the #2 pitcher on the Minuteman pitching staff with a dominating performance at the Boras Classic. The senior tossed a complete-game three-hitter and struck out seven in securing his first win of the season. His ERA in 2.95
Jacob Wagg, California vs. Lincoln
Wagg made the most of his first high school starting assignment as he tossed four shutout innings, allowed two hits, and struck out in an 8-0 Condors win. He lowered his ERA to 1.68 and picked his first win of the season.
