BASEBALL
RIO HONDO LEAGUE
La Canada 4, Monrovia 3: The Spartans pulled off the upset of the day when Ross Piken reached base on an error that scored Austin Loughrin with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Taylor Parrille had two hits. Isaias Hernandez had two hits for Monrovia, and Kaleb Ellison drove in two runs. With the loss, Monrovia drops to second place in the league.

San Marino 3, Temple City 1: The Titans moved into sole possession of first place in the league standings on the strength of another outstanding pitching performance from J.J. Wilson, who limited the Rams to four hits and struck out seven in a complete-game effort. He also helped his cause with two hits. With the win, the Titans are in first place in the league standings.
BASELINE LEAGUE
Chino Hills 1, Rancho Cucamonga 0: Matt McCliman scored Matt Mendez with the only run of the game as the Huskies defeated the Cougars in the first game of a three-game series.
Los Osos 6, Damien 5: The Grizzles scored their eventual winning run in the third inning to defeat the visiting Spartans, who are on a two-game losing streak. Grant Corder hit a grand-slam home run for the Spartans.
MISSION VALLEY LEAGUE
South El Monte 13, Mountain View 1: Xavier Cordova had two hits with three RBIs and Armando Huizar contributed two hits as the Eagles throttled the Vikings.
Gabrielino 5, El Monte 1: Isaiah Standley, a sophomore, drove in El Monte’s only run in a loss.
NORTH HILLS LEAGUE
Sonora 3, Troy 0: Tucker Hunnicutt looked sharp as he tossed five shutout innings, limited the Warriors to three hits, and struck out five. Anthony Abad had two hits with an RBI. The Raiders remained in second place in the league standings.
PALOMARES LEAGUE
Glendora 5, Bonita 1: The Tartans strengthen their hold on third place in the league standings with an upset win over the host Bearcats. John Seeder, Kai Zeits, Aaron Jacobsen, and Brayden Johnson all had two hits. Tanner Grable held the Bearcats to one run on seven hits and struck out five in 4.1 innings of work.
Walnut 3, Diamond Bar 1: Izeyah Rojas looked strong on the mound as he threw four shutout innings, surrendering two hits to pick up the win.

Los Altos 5, Colony 4: The Conquerors scored their winning run in the top of the seventh inning to defeat the host Titans. Kaylahni Duenas struck out 12 in a complete-game effort for Los Altos.

South El Monte 17, Mountain View 5: Faith Magana went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, and Sofia Menina added two hits with 3 RBIs as the Eagles easily turned back the Vikings.
Arroyo 12, Rosemead 2: Emily Rubalcava hit a home run and Alina Linn connected on two doubles as the Knights overwhelmed the Panthers.

South Pasadena 17, Temple City 8: Natalie Kan had two doubles with three RBIs, and Emma Becerra went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs as the Tigers easily defeated the visiting Rams.
