BASEBALL
AT THE EASTON TOURNAMENT
Crespi 4, St. Francis 0: The Golden Knights ran into a buzzsaw as Jackson Eisenhauer tossed a complete-game two-hitter and struck out 10 to help advance the Celts to the tournament championship game. The senior hit a TOP of 91 on his fastball. Diego Velasquez, a USC commit, delivered the game's big hit with a single to left field that scored two runs in the fifth inning. St. Francis’ Noah Aguilar-Tanphanich more than held his own as he limited the Celts to five hits and struck out three. Jordan Lewallen and Nathan Kim were the only St. Francis players to scratch out a hit.
Newbury Park 8, La Canada 2: The Panthers scored four runs in the fourth inning and cruised to an easy consolation game win over the Spartans. Will Park had a double that scored a run for La Canada.

Oxford Academy 8, Los Altos 3: Junior Nathan Barrera drove in two runs for Los Altos.
Monrovia 3, Village Christian 0: James Quesenbery had the pitching performance of the day in the area as he tossed a complete-game three-hitter and struck out five.
El Rancho 12, South Gate 1: Alex Moraza was the offensive star of the game as he punched out two doubles and drove in three runs. Junior Alex Aparicio limited South Gate to 1 run on five hits and struck out three to earn the win.
Whittier Christian 6. Orange 4: The Heralds scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held off a late rally to pick up the win. Gabe Garcia and Zion Park each had two hits.

SOFTBALL
Santa Fe 3, Whittier Christian 1: The Chiefs scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to upend the host, Heralds. Jackie Cardenas, Brooklyn Coppin, and Sophia Garcia each drove in a run for Santa Fe. Mia Camacho had a run-scoring double for Whittier Christian. Ava Galvan allowed one run on five hits and struck out in a complete-game effort to earn the win. Sofia Gonzalez pitched six innings for the Heralds and fanned two.
Northview 8, Colton 4: The Vikings rallied from a 4-3 deficit by scoring two runs in the bottom of the second, which was the difference in the win. Freshman Mila Elizalde went 3 for 4 and drove in three runs.
