Arcadia 5, Crescenta Valley 1: The Apaches parlayed a four-run first inning to another stellar performance from University of San Diego commit Fernando Palencia to clinch the outright Pacific League title. Leo Peniche went 3 for 3 and scored twice. Daniel Catano contributed 2 hits with an RBI. Palencia allowed one run on 8 hits and struck out 7 in a complete-game performance. Of the 105 pitches that he threw, 70 of them were strikes and his fastball TOP was 91 MPH.Â

ALMONT LEAGUE
Alhambra 9, Montebello 6:Â Elijah Rodriguez and Nathan Figueroa had three hits for the Oilers.Â
CAMINO REAL LEAGUE
St. Paul 12, St. Genevieve 1: Jeremiah Duran has a huge day offensively as he went 3 for 4 with 6 RBIs and Angelo Patino connected on a solo home run.Â
GATEWAY LEAGUE
La Mirada 10, Gahr 2: Luke Armijo showed again why he is one of the top freshman pitchers in Southern California as he surrendered one earned run on four hits and struck out two in picking up the decision. Les Lukach of Prep Baseball Report caught his fastball topping at 88 MPH. Maverek Russell connected on a home run and Jacob Oropez went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs. With the win, La Mirada clinched the outright Gateway League title.Â
PALOMARES LEAGUE
Bonita 7, Glendora 6: The Bearcats swept the three-game series from the Tartans in thrilling fashion as they scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning and held on late. Diego Vasquez hit a two-run homer and Glendora’s Mason Danison also hit a home run.Â
Ayala 14, Claremont 4: The Bulldogs scratched out 17 hits that propelled them to a win and a sweep of the Wolfpack. Jaden Valenzuela went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs.Â
VALLE VISTA LEAGUE
San Dimas 10, Covina 3: Kody King tossed five scoreless innings and struck out five to earn the win. He also went 3 for 4 and drove in five runs.Â
Diamond Ranch 4, Northview 3:Â Christian Mayo and Daniel Haro each had two hits for the Vikings.Â
Charter Oak 3, West Covina 1: Marc Lopez went five innings, allowing one run on seven hits and fanned three hitters. Steven Orozco’s run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning proved to be the difference.Â
NONLEAGUE
Bishop Amat 7, Arlington 2: Justin Peinado allowed two runs on two hits and struck out five in five innings on the mound to earn the win.Â
Whittier 1, Savanna 0:Â Jacob Rocha tossed a five-hitter and struck out seven.Â
