BASEBALL
California 3, Yorba Linda 2: The Condors scored three runs in the fifth inning and hung on for a non-league victory. Adrian Hernandez looked superb on the mound for the Condors as he allowed one run and struck out eight in a complete-game victory over the Mustangs. Nick Jimenez and Isaiah Moreno each had RBIs.
Los Altos 14, Montebello 4: The Conquerors got after Oilers starter Adrian Roman by scoring 12 runs in the second inning and secured an easy nonleague win. Raul Zuniga had two doubles with Elijah Lopez, Jake Ruelas, David Castillo, and Zuniga each driving in two runs. Andy Jimenez pitched all five innings for Los Altos and earn the win.

SOFTBALL
St. Anthony 7, Bishop Amat 3: The host Saints jumped out to a 7-1 lead after the second inning and cruised to an easy Del Rey League win over the Lancers. Senior Bella Bastien had two hits with Dahila Palacio, Alyssa Garcia, and Bastien each drove in a run. The Lancers are back in action on Thursday with a road game against Eastvale Roosevelt.
La Mirada 4, Firebaugh 0: The pitching combination of Elisa Castro and Quira Castillo were formidable in the circle as they combined to hold Firebaugh to 2 hits and struck out 13 in a Suburban League win. The Matadores are back in action on Thursday with a key showdown against Norwalk.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Arcadia def. San Marino, 25-16, 25-18, 25-19: Kyle Soriano led the way for the victorious Apaches with 6 kills and 7 digs, with Kevin Nakaishi amassing 13 digs and Varunkarhik Baskaran adding four kills.
Village Christian def. Maranatha 25-12, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22: Alec Smith had a solid game with 11 kills and Lucas da Costa accumulated 7 kills and 5 aces, but it was enough as the Crusaders prevailed in an Olympic League affair.
